Time to #DiscoverSelangor again with these REOPENED attractions in the Klang Valley

Missed travelling? These amazing attractions are now OPEN for a fun weekend!

Woohoo! Starting from 5th March 2021, the Malaysian government has announced a switch from the movement control order (MCO) to the conditional MCO in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Johor and Penang.

While interstate travel remains a no-no, people can now freely move inter-district and travel between Selangor and Kuala Lumpur is permitted. Along with this, cinemas, theme parks, zoos, museums and other selected businesses are allowed to reopen with strict adherence to SOPs.

So, if you’ve been cooped up too long at home, you’re now free to mask up, grab your hand sanitiser, and head to these amazing attractions around the Klang Valley that are reopened from today (6th March 2021) onwards!

Zoo Negara

Zoo Negara is one of the best places in the Klang Valley to see wildlife. This massive 110 acre facility is home to over 5137 animals from up to 476 different species! Among their most popular residents are Xing Xing and Liang Liang, a pair of adorable giant pandas. There are also lions, tigers and bears, oh my!

Our national zoo has fallen on hard times since the start of the pandemic, and has struggled with funding for the care and feeding of their many animal friends.
