Introduction
- A traditional albeit modern way to see and appreciate historic Kuching would be a boat cruise along the Sarawak River. It provides a time-honored view of the city and its surroundings that is impossible to experience on land. The boat glides past colourful Malay Villages with houses on stilts, the elegant City Mosque, the imposing Fort Margherita and the Kuching Waterfront.
- Whilst cruising, wave a hello or two to those in the brightly painted water taxis (known as tambangs), see villagers going about their everyday activities, with fishing boats and wooden cargo vessels plying the river.
- Enjoy a full view of the Astana, the former residence of the White Rajahs which is now the Governor’s official residence. The practicality of our purpose-built pontoon boats offers unobstructed views of every aspect of everyday life on the river.

Kuching City & River Tour (4 hours)
Morning Option
0900hrs: Pickup from Hotel and proceed to the Waterfront for the 1 hour river cruise (13 seater pontoon boat).
1000hrs: After cruise, continue with the Kuching City Tour which takes you through the places of interest and historic attraction.
1300hrs: Tour ends and transfer back to Hotel.
Afternoon Option
1400hrs: Pickup from Hotel and proceed for the Kuching City Tour which takes you through the places of interest and historic attraction.
1700hrs: After the tour, continue to the Waterfront for the 1 hour river cruise (13 seater pontoon boat).
1800hrs: Tour ends and transfer back to Hotel.
